ABOUT ME
Finn Thale writes atmospheric fantasy where magic has consequences, secrets come to light, and difficult choices carry a price.
Stories about loyalty, belonging, identity, and the choices that shape who we become.
WRITING
-
I Outline. Then I Ignore It.
I always start with an outline. Then the characters, the scenes, and the story itself find a different way to get where I was going.
-
When Magic Has Consequences
Why the most interesting magic is not only about what it can do, but what happens because it was used.
-
What We Carry Into Our Stories
How the experiences we carry with us can quietly shape the stories we choose to tell.
-
Project Wayfarers
